VOTW - Bud Light and The Ability to Talk to Animals

This 30 sec Bud Light spot got me wondering whether or not AB is subliminally trying to get their consumers to believe that getting really plowed on their beer will give them supernatural abilities. 

From there, I got to thinking about all of those allergy medication ads where the main character of the commercial is being harassed by giant flowers, pollen spores and other things that any person who is not under the influence of really strong narcotics would not normally see.

Perhaps there is little more to it than the intention of providing some sense of entertainment value to consumers while trying to convey the beneficial attributes of their products, but I’m not necessarily convinced.
