The Lowdown on Upgraded iPod Classic and Redesigned Nano

If you didn’t catch the announcement by Steve Jobs earlier this week during Apple’s marketing event in San Francisco, here is a brief video clip with some interesting details around changes they have made for the upcoming year.

Highlights include:

  •  Expanded storage on the iPod classic from 80 GB to 120 GB….enough to hold 30,ooo songs for the same price as last year’s model (USD $249)
  • New curved face redesign on the iPod Nano and the thinnest design that Apple has ever produced.
  • The prices for the 16GB and 32GB versions of the iPod touch were cut by $100 each, to $299 and $399, respectively.
