Pronounced [j-seer-ee-uhs] - My name is Jason Cyr.  I’ve been researching Internet advertising and economics for several years while working through my Masters Degree and developing a business plan for my latest venture, CyBoss Technology Partners.  This blog serves as a medium to share with the blogosphere my research and insight which welcome feedback from other aspiring entrepreneurs and would-be “pundits”. 

A few of the things that make my life great:

• Family life: I’ve been married for almost 6 years and enjoying fatherhood for about 8 years and have to say that these have been the best years of my life.

• The impact of the Internet on capitalism: Researching and understanding Internet business models, including Internet marketing, start ups, angel investments, VC and buy-outs as well as strategies for predicting and capitalizing on future trends.

• Entrepreneurship: I have always been fascinated with the challenge of starting and running my own businesses.  A little over 3 years ago I met my cofounder in CyBoss Technology Partners while working on a project for one of our employers.  We’ve been working on a funding initiative and business plan for several months and plan to go-live with this business in 2008.

• College Football: I’m admittedly not a good sports writer, so I don’t write about it, but I am a big fan of college football, particularly the USF Bulls (one of my alma maters) and the UF Gators.

• Health & Fitness: I really enjoy ice hockey, golf and hope to someday be able to keep up with my wife on the tennis courts.
